1Q 2025 Company Update

EJ Vongher

It’s been a little over a year since we shipped our first polymer part produced in our new manufacturing facility here in Branford, CT. As a reminder, our company - Paradigm Polymer - was formed by a core group of veteran Parason Machine employees, who left that company prior to its closing in late 2023.

We set up our Swiss-style Machining operation to serve the many plastics customers Parason had over the years and we remain committed to leveraging this team’s experience and expertise in plastics with this production technique. However, it’s always been the vision of our management to grow into other fabrication techniques and in 2025, we will implement new technology here at Paradigm Polymer.

Production Equipment Update

First up is evolving our Swiss-style machining capabilities to enhance our ability to make parts with more intricate, asymmetrical dimensioning which will allow us to deliver even tighter tolerances and more complex part production for our customers. Our goal is to have this on line in the first half of 2025.

We are also actively pursuing a CNC milling capability upgrade to include a 5-axis machining center. A CNC milling center like this will enable us to machine part geometries more efficiently, adopt machining contours unachievable with traditional 3 axis milling centers and machine complex 3D geometries to produce an even wider variety of parts.

Industry Certifications

We are actively pursuing two certification standards important to us and our customers. We are in the process of becoming ISO-certified, as we know that is a critical credential for both current and new customers. The good news is that we have been operating within ISO standards since our opening so moving to full certification is not a big lift.

We are also in the process of becoming ITAR-registered, as many of our customers create components or parts destined for the United States Munitions List. We are on pace to become International Traffic in Arms Regulations compliant by the fourth quarter.

Social Media and Trade Show Schedules

There is a lot going on here at Paradigm Polymer so we want to make sure our customers and prospects have the most up-to-date information. If you’d like to subscribe to our RSS feed which will include all key website content updates, click here. Another place we’ll be posting news and developments is on our LinkedIn and Facebook pages.

Finally, we once again plan on showcasing our capabilities at some regional trade shows in 2025. We know we’ll be at the Design2Part shows in Uncasville, CT (April) and Marlborough, MA (October) and are considering adding other shows to the mix. Let us know if you plan on attending other shows so we can select locations that are convenient for our customers.

If you’d like to learn more about us, download our company brochure or powerpoint. If you might be interested in sourcing parts from us, submit your information on our website RFQ input form. Thank you and best wishes for the new year.
